GOLDEN RULES FOR EVERYDAY

Golden Rules For Everyday.....

1. ‘ Do not be quick with your mouth,

do not be hasty with your heart

to utter anything before God;

God is in heaven,

and you are on earth

so let your words be few.’

‘Say nothing you would not like God to hear.’

2. ‘In everything set them an example

by doing what is good;

in your teaching,

show integrity

seriousness and sound of speech.’

‘Do nothing you would not like God to see.’

3. ‘Nothing in creation is hidden

from God’s sight,

everything is uncovered

and laid bare before the eyes of Him

to whom we must give account.

‘Write nothing you would not like God to read.’

4. ‘His eyes are on the ways of men,

He sees their every step;

there is no dark place,

no deep shadow

where evil doers can hide.

‘Go to no place where you would not

like God to find you.’

5. They read from the book of the law

of God

making it clear and giving

the meaning, so that the people

could understand what was being read.’

‘Read no book of which you would not,

like God to say, “Show it to me.”

6. ‘He did for us, so that

Whether we are awake or asleep

We may live together with Him.’

‘So never spend your time in such a way,

that you would like God to say

“What are you doing?”
