The Golden Ticket
Looking right, looking left will I find the golden ticket?
This is going to better my future I just know it.
I am not confident in my searches I wonder why?
Do my previous failures define my current endeavors?
I already know the answer; that’s just me wanting to hear myself talk.
A glorified scavenger hunt is the path I must walk.
Time passes I grow wiser.
Time passes I grow strong.
My future looks brighter because I’ve figured out what I’ve done wrong.
I’m not shooting for the moon and hitting the stars.
I’m shooting for the stars and hitting the cars.
I tell the universe I’m in control of my own destiny.
That I’m the person that’s going to find the impossible.
What better person to invest in my future than me?
What’s that gold sparkling in the distance?
I see it and I do believe it.
I look to my left and looked right at that golden ticket.
