Goldie The Squatter
The bearskins went on vacation
Far and long to another nation.
They left the house in great condition.
It was always part of their tradition.
“So long!” said Papa Bearskin.
“Farwell!” said Mama Bearskin.
“Goodbye!” said Little Bearskin.
So, they left and their journey begins.
Goldie was an Apple executive.
She was super competitive.
She was always dressed with care.
Her hair was gold like Rick Flair!
So why did they call her Goldie?
She sealed all the deals solely.
But then Apple had to downsize.
Sadly, she was part of the minimize.
She lost her mansion,
And her friends wouldn’t have any kind of interaction.
She lost it all!
Like Humpy dumpy she had a great fall.
Out on the street with no place to go,
She came across a house white like snow.
The house looked almost brand-new.
She ran inside to the house and it smelled like fondue!
The abandoned house was decorated with beautiful blue.
She thought to herself “This is too good to be true!”
First Curious to approach,
Later in the house like a roach.
She went to the living room and saw pictures of the Bearskins
She put up her picture and didn’t care that she had broken in.
She decided to make it her own and redecorate.
When Goldie was done she decided to bake a cake to celebrate!
Meanwhile, the Bearskins were having great fun,
Laying and playing in the sun.
Eating food and sipping on drinks,
Before they knew it, the week went by in a blink.
When the Bearskins arrived back home the locks weren’t the same.
They saw a mysterious figure sleeping on the couch from the window pane.
They knocked to get in with permission,
To take the house was someone else’s mission.
“Who's at the door? Goldie asked.
“This is OUR house!” the Bearskins said with sass.
Remember, Goldie was at the top of her company,
The Bearskins didn’t know she filed Form 37, unluckily.
The form says she had the right to the house if abandoned for over 2 days.
Which got the Bearskins to go crazy with rage.
“I tell you what, we can cohabitate” Goldie said.
“Only as long as I get to choose my bed”.
“I’ll try your bed first Daddy-kins.”
She yelled, “This bed is so hard it should be a sin!”
“On to you Mama-kins.”
“This bed was so soft it started to bend.”
“You’re the last one Baby-kins.”
“Oh! This bed is a Win-Win!!”
As time went on Goldie became family.
In the household everyone became accustomed to each other naturally.
Goldie even helped out around the house.
No one could complain not even the mouse.
Goldie became everyone’s friend.
And this is where I stop and say The End!
