Goldilocks
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Goldilocks,
Who wandered to a house and gave the door a few knocks.
It was opened by a bear,
And oddly, it did not care,
But the girl looked back at the bear with terror and shock.
Goldilocks was a thief, and looking for her next heist,
And the goods in this bear’s house, well, they would have sufficed.
All that the bears owned seemed to be just right,
But she thought bears ate kids, and were a blight,
And she ran in fear, unwilling to be sacrificed.
The kind bear sighed, closed the door, and went back to his table.
His family ate porridge as he cursed their new label.
If only the girl knew,
That the rumors were not true,
These genius bears did not eat humans - they were unable.
