Gone


Told her he would leave She didn’t believe One minute adorin’ Next mourin’ Crying cause she missed Yet, knowing tears won’t fix it He didn’t put up a fight She knew he was right Left her broken Now finding herself soft spoken Walking out with memories Making her feel lost at sea No life boat Nothing to keep her afloat Holding on to her bleak dream She tried not to fully break at the seams Finally looking at the ground She frowned Knowing he was six feet down.
