Gone

They tried to save you

You held on too

You fought for a year

Most people don't last

But you fought for your family

Soon it seemed it was over

They believed they won the war

But you were still sick

And when that morning came

Seven years ago

They found that all was lost

Your small heart stopped

You seemed so peaceful

But in the end you were

Gone
