Gone

What have

We done

To each other?

I stare vacantly

In your eyes

Where others

Have curled up

Along the curves

Of your pupils

To perish in

The mine fields

Of your intense

Blood shot gaze.

Passion is an

Important factor

Yet it leads

Most to marinate

In their own

Madness.

It quivers,

It grinds

Deep inside

The racing pulse

Hiding behind

Refusing ribs.

It roams and

Creeps up my

Spine,

Inhaled through

My cringing

Mouth

And into

The spinning

Blood stream.

Yet when all

That fire

Subsides,

When it ceases

To exist

Through disintegrating

Cells,

And when

The masks

Come off

At the dinner

Party

The tea

Is poured

And we become

Our selves.

We rupture each

Others

Bodies,

We convolute

Each other's

Minds,

We abuse trust

And push

Each other

To our solemn

Demise

With an anchor

Holding us

Hostage beneath

The weight

Of an infinite

Ocean.

What will

We do

To each other?
