Gone
Looking up I see you there;
A star shining in the sky.
Like a dimond hovering,
There above the place I lie,
From this field away from town,
I lay here wondering why.
I wonder where you have gone;
I wonder why I still cry.
Memories of you and me,
And how you'd embrace me so.
They're saying I should move on;
I refuse to let you go.
I know you are always near,
Soaring high on angel's wings.
I know you're in His kingdom;
You stand with the King of Kings.
So here I lay in this field,
Gazing up into the night.
I think of our happiness,
And know I'll be alright.
