Gone

Gone

Faster than wind

She appeared

But gone

Slower than the longest winter night

Tormenting me in the cold

She kept me happy

She kept my heart from the freezing depths of reality

But know shes been blown away

By the same winds that carried her to me

Take her away

As easy as the dead leaves in the fall

Leaving me when i feel no more like myself

I cry begging, aching, agonizing for her to come back

But will never return to me

My false hope is the scissors I use

To cut down the truth hanging by a single yet strong thread

For that is that I have left

The hope she will return
