Gone
Your old and lonely and you’re drinking
You’re sitting, sitting, and your thinking
Your vision blurs so you start blinking
Then your mind, drifts to the past
Oh, how you thought those days would would last
But it all moved too fast, too fast
Remember those fears that you used to mock
Remember those dreams that you used to stalk
Back when you could ignore the ticking, ticking clock
But in each life there comes a day
When reality, it comes to play
And you realize tomorrow was yesterday.
