Gone
Gone
by Kayly Hernandez
Out of the lives in the world
You had to walk into mine
No warning. No Sign.
Such a cruel fate to the heart
that’s mine,
leaving me drunk
on the fruit of your wine
Such a lovely gift
Ah, so heavenly divine!
Not one word spoken
only this erupting feeling
up and awoken
A FIERY passion, an aching pain
burning and burning
with a voice of shame
since I regret
how I took you
in vain
