Gone

"Soon she's coming back"

That's what they tell me,

Are you really coming back?

why don't you call and tell me?

You are so near yet so far,

'Cause now I know where you are,

Gone.

I still make two cups chocolate,

'Cause maybe you'll stay out late,

I still make you the T-bone,

Your number's still on my phone,

Hopes you drive in with your car,

I can't believe where you are,

Gone.

Our jigsaw is undone,

You're to fit the last one,

Your promises I hold fast,

Perhaps you'll come back at last,

If I wish upon the stars,

Though I know where you are,

Gone.

Your food's no good anymore,

You don't call me anymore,

Our puzzle remain undone,

The remaining choice is one,

If I am to win this war,

I'll follow you where you are,

Gone.
