Gone

You may be gone but never forgotten, you'll always be in my heart

My love for you will stay strong; it'll never be torn apart.

I would travel to the ends of the Earth and walk every single mile

Just to see you one last time, and your beautiful smile.

Whenever the sun shines, you know I'll be thinking of you

I'll know you're watching over me and smiling at me too.

Instead of crying tears, I'll stand out in the rain

So anyone who looks at me, cannot see my pain.

You know that I'll always love you - no matter where you are

Even if you're in Heaven - it doesn't matter how far.

As God descended from the clouds, he took you back with him

And when you left we lost a light - the world just grew more dim.

Your death left me heartache - that only time can heal

But you love left me with memories that no one can steal.

So now I wait that fateful day, when death comes knocking on my door

So I ca see you once again - and stay with you forever more.
