Gone


Broken and torn to pieces she looks outside her window There is something inside of her that doesn't feel right, it's a shadow She screams and she yells but the sounds just don't make it to where they need to go Some place far off holds them Holds them, gone from her forever She then drops to her knees, to ask the one man who can to help her

This poem is about missing people who have passed on. The girl is saying that her loved ones in heaven can't hear her. The "shadow" is the the black void that many people describe as inside of them when they miss someone. The last lines depicts the girl kneeling on the floor praying to God.
