Gone
The day was bright and warm.
All was good.
The phone rings continuously.
Within seconds the day turns black,
surrounded with gloom.
Suddenly the feeling disappears.
He sinks down to the bottom of a muddy lake,
lost for hours.
A lifeless body emerges from the murky shallows.
It is Matthew.
My best friend is Gone.
