Gone...

Location

Silence fills the streets that lead to Willow St. and back. It covers everything transforming the quiet town like the photo I hold in my hands. It covers the shadowed staircase that leads to the small dark patch at the top of it. The darkness engulfs the narrow hallway lined with hollow smiles in every portrait. Time slows to a creeping tone that displays itself upon my brow, and mouth, and fingers. The darkness writhes forward in a flood smashing the wall space at the very end of the hall. Debris of dim blackness attaches itself to the door gripping to the floor, and all the treasures, and every single obscurity that fills the room. It consumes all, and I am gone...
