Gone

The silence falls upon my ears, A difference from the constant low shouts. One for the better? Or worse? No voices to be heard, As the darkness falls upon the house. No foot steps to be heard, Silence through the night. Tragedy falls upon the house, A drunken father figure, In his stupor acts out his rage, At his doting wife. No longer with us, But is with us in spirit, Watching over us, Me.
