Gone .

Slowly falling...

Reaching out to grasp at the pieces of my soul.

Something once whole yet now shattered...

As i try to pull it all back together... I break even more.

Blood running down my arms ...

My heart racing, A comforting feeling long but forgotten till now.

The pain my only reminder that i am alive...

Alive and breathing.

The taste of my tears against my parched lips ...

Ever so comforting.

Looking everywhere for help... for comfort.

Finding none. Finding no one.

So i lean back and enjoy the pleasure i get from the pain...

Enjoying the blood as it runs down my arms.

Slowly slipping into unconciousness ...

Broken. Lost . Gone.

"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
