"Gone and About"

Haven't seen many deaths in my time

Experienced none that brought pain to the heart

Witnessed a death before my eyes

Wasn't what I expected nor was it human

An Animal was hit on the road five meters away

Driver noticed, but didn't have heart

He was a devil himself

A dog had died

A dear, and loyal friend

... to whom he belonged!
