Gone to fast

My life was at a stopping point

When I didn’t hear your voice

You laid there in the bed stiff but not by choice.

My heart was ripped out as if the forbidden snake has stolen it.

You told me you was fine an I didn’t get over it

So I left for the night in didn’t think nothing of it.

Until the king of the sky told me

Go home to your family

I dashed home to see the scene

Of pills scattered… shattered… scattered, so terribly

The house was so silent in depressing

We called 911 in they came and swept you up that was upsetting

Now I’m reminiscing of the past

You hugging, and kissing me telling me that I was the best granddaughter you ever had

Oh how I miss your harp playing voice

She spoke wisdom to me by choice

Years have passed thank god for that

My hopes for the future is to never get mad

Being there for my family is the best thing I could ever have

So be thankful for what you have that’s my wish to you

Good luck at that.
