Girl from the city

I’m from prejudice from uppers

and arrogance from lowers.

I'm from abuse and neglect

to building independence and self respect.

I’m from family to family

to foster to foster.

I’m from love to someone else

But hate towards myself.

I’m from blossoming trees and

blooming flowers.

I’m from roaring sounds in Toyota Park

to children playing at head start.

I’m from home to home

and school to school.

From place to place

To my families disgrace.

Wisping through the wind,

I always see you

You never see me

Sincerely

The girl from the city.
