Gone but not forgotten

Growing up you took care of me no matter how bad i was

you gave me food and a roof and a mothers love

from hugs and kisses to beatings and punishment

i laugh so much when i think of all of it

you were my superhero because of how strong you were

7 years later we still wish there was a cure

every hero has a weakness i guess i know thats right

because the cancer took your life, so that was your kryptonite
