Gone To Soon
Dear Uncle,
Can you see me. Can you see him. Can you see all of us.
We Miss you, you laugh, your smile, the way you smell and the way you loved life.
You made it through so many things, you conquered addiction,
you were a fantastic father, a loving uncle, a pestering brother and a faithful son.
She took you out of our lives, not intentionally but ripped our hearts out that late night.
We didn't get the call from the sheriff who found you, we got the call from your favorite brother.
Who in agony, fought through the tears to tell us that you were gone.
So uncle, Can you see us?
You were gone to soon, I love you
