Goner

my name is on fire

i need to fly but i'm just a goner

i know my contract is coming to an end

i have no more life to willingly bend

hold me under this black water of hate

i know my time is behind and late

i am dead among the living

take these wires and hold my dark wings

take me off and wear me down

let me fall into this sound

this is silence that has not been found

please i cannot last another round

unwind me to my heart of no sense

pluck my feathers until they are tense

let me tell you goodbye in my dying fate

hold me back until i have nothing to create
