For Good

For Good

By Abby James

We walk into the entrance

My heart leaping out of my chest

The theater is hugel

Bigger than the rest.

We soon find our seats

And have a perfect view

Of the bubbles and the broomsticks

And the actors that are new.

The music starts to play

And the monkeys come on down

They raise the map of Oz

And see the people standing 'round.

The night goes by quickly

Until the actors take a bow

While everyone exits

I still am wondering "How?"

Before we head on home

Before we start to leave

My mom buys me a T-shirt

That says: "Defy Gravity."
