Good Bye

As we sat in those office chairs and choked through our version of events

I saw the tears in your eyes.

No matter how dumb you think I am, or how manny times you stabbed me in the back,

I never kept track of the scars you inflicted on my heart.

I was too worried about the scars on your wrists.

But if you think I'll sit somewhere and worry forever YOUR WRONG.

I don't hate you, honestly I don't think I have the will to,

there is a place for you in my heart but not my life.

The girl you hurt dosen't exist anymore.

She got smart and realized what you wanted with your half-truths and "little white lies"

eventhough a part of her died.

She'll remember you for the rest of her life but you wont get to dominate the thoughts

on her mind. that girl is moving on... and it's about time.

So this is goodbye to everything. All the fears, the tears, and all the sleepless nights.

The anger and the lies.

Freedom is worth the risk. Plus you're nolonger someone she's going to miss.

You don't own her anymore.

Bless your heart and God rest your soul. You don't own me anymore.

I realize you're probably never going to hear these words, thats alrgight there not really for you.

There are so many things I've wanted to say, but never had the courage to...

God help you and I forgive you.
