Good day m'lady

Death so greatly feared

Our beating hearts to cease

Damnation drawing near

The dead cannot pay fees

Fishing for a salvation

Casting out into our deeds

Searching through creation

While sin grows as weeds

Our profit is all lost

The price ever before us

Our life is the very cost

Because we sought to adore us

"Adore Him with your hearts and minds

Adore Him with your strength"

The choosing clock unwinds

We have not reached the length

We turn astonished there

Though wickedness had been sung

This can never be fair

For the Son of Man was hung

And raised up was he so high

We fell down so low

The backdrop a darkened sky

Death raised her bow

Though we had targets etched on us

With crimson blade our own

Death raised her ancient bow with lust

On Him who would atone

Passed over we sat there confused

Beholding the Son of God

Perhaps he could be scarred and bruised

But if He dies is he a fraud?

Death so greatly feared

Took a decisive blow

Behold the lamb of God so sheared

His head then hung low.
