The Good Enough Is Not Good Enough Cheer

The Good Enough is Not Good Enough Cheer for Kids, for adults, for all of us! The dishes aren't completely clean the tables wiped with grime hey it's just a job I don't want to waste my time! The paper hits the puddle that's good enough for me the paper route is just a job and there's no one here to see The boss is going to be out this week so a longer lunch, I'll take He's not here to watch me so I think I'll take a break! it's good enough to almost do it's good enough to scam it's good enough to do halfway who do they think I am? But what you do not understand no, what you do not see that if you settle for good enough than great you'll never be! If you want to slide on by and get away with doing less then who is going to call on you when their calling on the best? Who are you really skimping on when you skimp on your chores who is gonna think less of you whose opinion matters more than yours? Who do you compete against in school, in sports, in play? The person who you are right now against the person you were yesterday! So the only person you are hurting by doing less than you should is you, just you no one but you cause you think you're not that good!. Not good enough to make the team so why then should I try? not good enough to live your dreams so why not go and hide? Now that you know come on let's go away from good enough let's go do better than better than ever even if the going gets tough! I do not mean being the most popular fame fades, the glow does go I mean to be the very best you it's you, you must come to know! You need to feel you're great enough to be out there living large whether heading off to Law school or making music in your garage! Be you, be the best don't settle for less because less just will not do get up, get dressed put yourself to the test you'll be surprised at how you'll come through! So the next time that you watch someone or the next time that you hear someone saying aww that's just good enough share with them this little cheer!
