The Good & Evil

When I was little

I used to believe that the good guys always defeated the bad ones

My mom used to tell me stories as the blinking stars arose

And in the end, the graceful princess would always get her prince

and the bad guys would be locked away in a dark dungeon

But as all the long awaiting years passed

I came to realize

The good are turning bad

and the bad guys are winning

the bad guys invade the dreams of the soft whispers

and the good guys have faded away faster than a turning clock

When I was little

I really thought there would not be any difficult battles

between me and the bad

but the more time i spend in this tired world

the more i find myself becoming the bad guy

Instead of fighting, I have gave in my shield

I have been defeated

I have been brought up to be the bad guy

The bad guy that I was scared to be when I was small

The bad guy I was scared to meet

And the more I have stayed here

The more I found out

That the bad sometimes wins.
