good feeling
a thought dawned on me
i wanted to perform in front of a large crowd
i got encouragement from a friend
i got an inspiration from my girl
she always states, if it's in my heart, go for it
i knew it was time to wow the crowd with one of my smashing hit
my heart was pounding with nervousness
not from fear, just excitement like a kid that just got his favorite ps3 game
my name was call to perform and i made sure i wasn't going to be place in a hall of shame
just wanted people to know my name
although the crowd was moved
apparently the judges wasn't
who knows what their standards were, but it was bias like the s.a.t. exam
judges define what they like, whatever the fuck that means
i should invite them over so i can kindly tell them diplomatically about themselves during favorite my meal of chicken with rice and beans
the crowd didn't approve overall score
judges must've been angry because their mouths was plagued with a canker sore
in their eyes, i'm a chump
in god's eyes, i'm the champ
i won tonight
poetry in never about competition
its about aspiring the crowd with heavy loads of ammunition
not with a gun, but with words
i got love that night, the people spoke out
i knew that night was mine, i'm on the prowl ready to attack
always remember that none of my writings are wack
i'll be back
i will continue to write
fuck with me and i'll strike like a pit and bite
