The Good Fight

My mind makes me offbeat
A singular pattern to seek
Blance lost, no longer standing
Up in the air never landing
Ruined and wrecked
No emotion to detect
The heart bleeds
It has lost a loved one
Search to fill the depletion
Charismatic character
A creature finds love
that is not real
Chasing fulfillment
A goal, if reached
will leave her less
whole, more empty
There is no victor
Black Striped face
Bloody knees fall
to the ground taking
her wayward expression
down with the rest of her
tired and defeated body
She has lost the good fight.
