Good Gone Bad

It all started when you were a little girl.

You liked to play with the dolls whose hair you curled.

Your favorite show was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and you lived in a small house with your mom.

Your dad was never around so you never had a man to show you how bright your crown was.

As you grew older your heart grew colder and the fire in your eyes would smolder the guys you hung out with.

It wasn’t just your eyes, it was the width of your thighs and hips and the curl of your lips.

The guys try to take advantage but you told them you didn’t need them and you could manage.

The guys would say anything to try and get to you and after a while it did.

You were in high school now and the guys made you feel like a big woman when really you’re only just a kid.

The more they asked the more you thought in your mind “maybe”.

You wanted them to love you and not your body, but you didn’t know that most of them were very shady.

You thought the guy that wasn’t like the others was “the one”.

When really in his mind he just wants to get a taste of that tongue.

You let him take advantage, you thought you could try and manage, when really you weren’t ready.

Now he’s asking for something you don’t want to do, you just want to take it steady.

It happened, you weren’t happy with the fact that it did, but he’s happy right?

He loves you and you love him but he doesn’t want to stay the night.

He has to leave and you can’t believe that you let him take it to that point, but he’s gone now.

In that moment you think back to “how did this happen”?

You were just a little girl that liked to play with dolls hair.

You always sat like a lady in your chair, but now you’re just a good girl gone bad who has to reminisce

on the love that she thought she had.
