Good Hurts and Bad Comforts

Why hold a rose

                And risk a thorn

Why speak out

                And face their scorn

The good, the bad, the ugly

All leave a scar on us

At first a lesson

                Then an injustice

No one knows, none will say

Why we choose to live this way

How good hurts and bad comforts
