Good Morning
I see the sun peek over the horizon
I am awake before my alarm decides to get its buzz on
Still wiping the crust out of my eyes
But I am blown away by these immaculate skies
Full of the sofest yellows and a touch of red
But I turn around and see you're still in my bed
All these thoughts begin to run through my head
It's a whirlwind of things that I have never said
But they are all the things that you have made me feel
First off I know that my heart is locked inside my chest cavity
But when I am with you I feel it floating around inside of me
As if my insides have lost all gravity
With you my happiness is a reality
You make me feel like there is a faith in humanity
By being so quick to bring me back to sanity
You pick me up when I fall and wipe the dust off my back
Always reminding me that I will be able to get back on track
You are clear that you will never do it for me
You always tell me "Spread your wings and soon you will be soaring"
I can see that your dreams are right at your finger tips
I cannot wait to see your face when you finally achieve it
I intend to be there when you feel no one else will
This all seemed so crazy when it first started but know my love for you is real
It does not matter if we pass or fail
My love for you will always prevail
I begin to sense that my thoughts are so loud that you may wake up
Then you turn over in bed and you say "Why are you staring out the window?"
I simply reply "I hope you know I will never let you go.."
