A Good Night's Rest

Eyes crack open
But wakefulness never
Seems to follow.

The hours of rest
Lie anywhere between
Five to twelve hours,
But the mind is
Constantly shrouded in
An impenetrable fog.

A feeling that eyes
Could remain closed
Forever and
Never at all.

Abreaction

I write mediocre and cliché poems. I like to read and write when time permits, and I like music a lot. There's security in numbers, but there's a war of ideas in literature that has the power to make change, and that's scary.
