The good for nothing

The mirror reflects the toad

The slimy green skin

Bumps, lots of bumps

The deceptive ways

Trapping flies in my mouth

But there's one fly that I could catch

But never swallow

I may have been a broke prince

But she's always been broke

Working hard for everything

Working hard for her dreams

She wanted to please her papa so well

That she even took in a man like me

Oh I wish I was that sweet woman's dream

Like sleeping beauty dreaming

But she can't sleep with all her working

Oh prin-I mean working hard lady

If only I was your dream.

This toad of a prince

Awaiting your sweet kiss.

I love God and my poems are inspired by God. I'm an author, but never like to gloat about it. I love people and animals.
