Good ol' Darcy
Oh boy, good ol' Darcy smiling her life away
Nobody could do her wrong
Good ol' Darcy makes everyone dance along.
That girl more of a cliche,
Giving away that faint muscle of yours
And we know it beats for the guy witht the devious smile.
Good ol' Darcy I see the makeup rubbing off,
Violet just ain't your color, gold fits that neck of yours better.
Oh boy, what have they done to you?
Call it 'love is pain' but it hurts too much, you know he does
Good ol' Darcy never comes around no more
Her sun has been shut down
I see your pain Darcy, masked with turtlenecks during summer.
Tell me, is he home drunk again?
But you are poisoned my dear
"He loves me, yes he does"
Is all I hear you say
I can give the warmth you lost
Life has drained you but I know what you are worth
Nothing but you is enough to me
Good ol' Darcy,
Let your own flesh and blood love you.
