So, tell me, now who made this mouth of clay?
What mighty being formed you from the dust?
The One who watches you by night and day,
And hears you every thought in open trust;
The Man who takes upon your heavy load,
And wipes away the tears upon your face;
So step by step He walked the dusty road
To pay the wage for sin, to take your place;
The One who rose to show his power great
And even though you may have had a doubt;
He saved you from a truly awful fate;
And gave you something to rejoice about;
He promised that your skies will soon be blue,
But you must live in Him and He in you.
