Goodbye...

(poems go here) Saying goodbye is the hardest thing I have to do. My feelings for you won’t ever change, I just hope you know, I love you too. I know you’ll be gone for weeks, months, maybe years, The thought never leaves my mind, And right now that’s my biggest fear, That when you come back, that our fingers won’t intertwine. I’ve tried to prepare myself for this, But can I really let you go? The feelings I get when I’m with you is beyond bliss, Because the love I have for you is real, just so you know. Just know I’ll think of our times together, Because they were always special to me. I never wanted to see you go, Never wanted to say goodbye. So, now I’ll let you go, and say goodbye, You can go on your way. If it’s meant to be, You’ll come back to me someday.
