Goodbye

(poems go here) The words jump around in my head. I said I understood. I lied. You said "It's just not the same, it is different now." I kept waiting for you to change your mind. So surprised I said, "This isn't right, why?" There was nothing, nothing left to say. My heart like a breakable vase crushed in a split second. I watched as you left, as you wobbled away. My mind screaming, "Don't go!" Yours screaming, "Goodbye."
