Goodbye

Dear you,

with the brown eyes,

the dark smile, the hole in my heart.

Guess you couldn't understand

why I left you, forever,

guess I didn't understand at the time.

Now, I know it's the lying.

The untruth, the secret withholding.

And now I know your secret,

about that boyfriend in Hong Kong,

your break up. Our friends all know.

So thank you for sweet years

in the sun, for night time in the cold,

and for finally watching me go.

Goodbye now my friend

THE END
