Goodbye

In a lone house,

On a lone desk,

Black fluid stands still

Slowly oozing.

Dripping, dripping down

A single feather lies, ink

Still fresh, bleeding off..

A single, ancient letter,

Unsent

Unread

Unnoticed.

Tear stains surround

Two words, forever emblazoned:

Goodbye, Love.
