Goodbye

When I think about you

All I see is darkness

And the pain inside that took over me.

It was all good in the beginning

But when it came down to the middle of it all

It was a blur of confusion.

You love me

But to me it seems like you just say that

To get your way.

I hate the way you smoke the drug

That kills your mind.

I hate the way half the time

You can't make up your mind.

Listen to me and don't drift away.

Like a bad song rollin on the highway.

What I'm trying to say is

We can't be friends

But we can still be loners.

Its not that I'm leaving you

It's all because we can't be.

Like a 2-way highway and no street.

So just drive away on that ragedy road

And don't ever come back until you've hit home
