Goodbye

The hand on the clock is broke

time is lost

the horn on the horse is chipped away

so burn the map

cut your wings

lose your way

and spread the ash in the field

where children play

they told me to say goodbye

 But I didn't go

now my chance is gone

your in the floor

rise to the dying star

and drink from the tree

exalting your youth

its so cold you left this frozen air behind

you painted the face of the clown in this dark fair

the fun and the laughs are swallowed away

say bye bye to the hairs you brushed at noon

and the raven picks at your wounds

nevermore

take this cloud and float away from here

enjoy the peace you fear my dear

i promise you won't miss the earth

but the earth will miss you
