Goodbye

Two Glassy Worlds,

They cannot be ignored, but pass by me often

They’re rare, but common here

They’re unwanted, but needed.

These Glassy Worlds,

Many in a sea of black.

Smoke runs free,

But no alarm rings,

It is smoke for blessings.

Suddenly a presence appears,

But a presence that is gone.

That’s when it hits,

That’s when these glassy worlds,

Can’t hold the pain in.

Floods come down the hills on my face.

“Surreal isn’t it?” They say,

But things will never be the same.

The only thing you can do is let it happen,

Let the two glassy worlds flood,

Let the pain out,

And let it all work out its course.

Goodbye my friend.
