Goodbye
The love a family member gives
is like none other
It feeds the beautiful light inside your soul
and it keeps you alive
What do you do
when you loose the giver of that illuminating light
the light that revives you when you’re sad
it makes you heart, mind, and soul
deteriorate
their love is as strong as the sun,
just as Helios racing along the soft turquoise sky
giving light to the world
Her love and guidance was stronger than any other
and the day I lost her
I lost a bit of myself
the light that kept me alive and warm
was gone
How are you supposed to live with no purpose
with no one to accept or give you love
A love stronger than that given by Aphrodite herself
and every day I shall search for your love
for the love you bestowed onto me
and every day
I shall miss you
