Goodbye

The same place where the body laid, is also where I sighed. The day that I got to know you, was also the day that you died. I tried to grasp that concept, but I wouldn’t let you go. I don’t know if it’s out of guilt, that I didn’t see you the most. But I still locked myself in, that closed state of mind. I want to say I’m sorry. I want another try. To be wrapped in your arms, to give a proper goodbye. But now I can’t, and I never will. I have to stick with goodbye.
