Goodbye

I always knew this day would come.

Goodbye was never so hard before.

New days are calling, my dreams still young.

But I want to reminisce little more.

I’ll never forget you.

Tomorrow is today.

You’ve made a mark on my life.

But things just can’t stay this way.

The memories we wrote together,

I’ll keep it in a notebook.

Those pages I’ll save forever.

One day, I’ll go back and take a look.

I’m so glad I got to know you.

Even if it was for such a short time.

Moving on is all we can do.

It’s time to walk past this line.

I wish you a happy life.

And know you’ll have a bright future.

Hope situations are never too tight.

You don’t know it, but you helped me mature.

Some new days ahead.

So I much I wish I’d said.

I’ll never forget you.

And all we’ve been through.

I’ll always remember you.

Our lives are tied by a thin string.

But that string will always be in my view.
