Goodbye Again

Today was your birthday again. And I've come back around, To the place where we first met. Hellos - and goodbyes I've watched you die a thousand times. But there's something in the wind that's Making me feel that in this life, Things could change. My friend, give me your hand. Tighten your grip and just breathe in. Our thoughts are one and the same - Who's to blame? I suppose there are things that We're never meant to know. But why is it always the ones we love Whom are always the first to go?
