Goodbye Apathy
This is not a poem
It is a tomb, for here I lay my apathy
I desire not nor need sympathy
There will be no rhyme for this is not one such time
I'll most probably come back to this place one day
But it'll never be for solace, I pray
For here I lay, & hoping it'll stay,
My past so dark and grey
But now I know myself to be a fool, a prey to fate
Because not every day will be gay, but if I don't dream so, then what's the aim of my faith
I can no longer live in those things far gone and what should or could have been
For here and now there is what is, being.
And I'll revel in them while waiting for what is to come, the mysterious, will be.
That's why I have patience
Now for nature to treat me with conscience
This was not a poem, it was goodbye
I say it with these words, trusting my heart is finally over you
Goodbye apathy.
